Ambassadors

In addition to the exciting role played by your informative comments, the Global Manifesto is supported by our Ambassadors. Our Ambassadors have a strong interest in Diversity and have chosen to promote our campaign through their presence on the Global Manifesto website as well as spreading the word themselves. We are delighted that our campaign is represented by such dynamic and inspiring Ambassadors.

Monika Haider - Diversity AmbassadorMonika Haider

Managing director of equalizent Schulungs- und Beratungs Gmbh

Basically Diversity Management is the idea of treating humans with respect. Based on my over twenty-five years’ experience with this topic I know personally that this simple idea is not easy to realize. It looks like it is part of the nature of humans to reduce other persons to categories like age or family background; and to tag this categories with negative and discriminated prejudice. Especially in conflict situations this is a common behaviour. It is my daily goal to decide and act according this spirit of treating humans with respect and to have the courage to stand up for these beliefs. I try to be an ideal within my surrounding.

Diversity Management influences also my work as managing director in a company for education of deaf people and consulting of companies in regard of Diversity Management. I am proud and thankful that we are a prizewinning company. We got awards from the areas of Diversity, education and economy.

I am honoured to be an ambassador of Global Manifesto on Human Diversity. The initiative of Global Manifesto on Human Diversity is important. It helps to establish a common sense and increase awareness about the ideas of Diversity Management in the society.

Diversity…
…is about exploring,
…is the art of feeling at home and making others feel at home with difference,
…means teaching about and learning how to appreciate and celebrate everybody and his/her/its specialness every day,
…is about enabling myself and my environment to realize and implement equality and enjoy its challenges,
…is about putting pieces of a puzzle together to see the whole picture,
…means questioning mainstream,
…is about listening, wondering, laughing, seeing, hearing, struggling and understanding – being active,
…is about blasting borders or at least trying to increase permeability,
…is about dancing in the rain, bathing in the sea and gazing at stars,
…is an obligation, responsibility and possibility at the same time – a marvel?
and much more to me.
