Humans of...
A project that we are big fans of is the "Humans of"-project. As many of you probably know, the original project is called "Humans of New York" (http://www.humansofnewyork.com/) and was started in November 2010 by a self-taught photographer in New York City. Ever since then there have been hundreds of spin-offs which show the diversity of people in various cities around the world. Check out for instance Humans of Tel Aviv (https://www.facebook.com/HumansOfTelAviv/photos_stream)
Is there a "Humans of" project where you live? No? Well, then why not start one and show us the diversity of human beings where you are from?
Of course we'd also appreciate it if you took the time and write a short note about what diversity means to you --> here

"America is Beautiful"
In an attempt to portrait the diversity of America (and to promote their beverage) Coca Cola produced the above posted video. Ever since it premiered during the Big Game on Sunday, it has caused somewhat of an uproar. According to various YouTube comments, people argue that this Ad focuses to much on differences, whereas others think that not enough diversity was portrait - e.g. there are no Native Americans to be seen in this video.
What are your thoughts on this?
How is diversity portrait in the media/in commercials of local brands where you come from?
AND most importantly: What does diversity mean to you?
